Yay update...

SO its been a while, BUT heres the thing,I don't have access to a scanner, well i do but its on my animation supervisors desk, and connected to his computer SOOOOOO i have to use his computer. Which is not what i want to do....
Although I have been drawing tons, TONS.... so today i felt like making something in flash so i can post it up.....so here it is... i started it at lunch and finished it after work... yup.. enjoy

Its Jupe again. Unfortunately production on Jupe has suffered due to the demanding films we are working on. The project is not yet dead, ive still been exploring aspects of the story/design.

This picture was my take on the more mordern simplfied style that seems to be drifting around.

Simplification has always been my weakness hence why i plan on trying to tackle it more often.

Also, i know most of my picture dont have much to them, but that because i dont have much time lately....

ANYWAYS we are in the home stretch to finish these films. Im excited for this years end.

heres some new stuff, i realise it has been a little while since i posted last BUT, im still keeping up. I kinda feel like my blog sucks........ i shoudl work on that, then again maybe its not the blog that sucks... it really ME!!!! This was a drawing i drew on my buddies desk, then i decided to colour him so i redrew it on paper.... Sal is really in love with salsa, he just doesnt know it yet.

Ummm... so i wanted to put up a couple quick sketches i did in my sketchbook... i used a touch of water colour and figured they would go up on my good ol blog.. these monkeys were inspired from the yearbook page i made the other day. Maybe ill post that up.. no no... ill wait till the year book is printed..

Hmm... so maybe i didn't make it every week, but that's okay. Ive been very busy lately.
Anyways i found my coop and im moving to Halifax for the summer. WOT!!!

heres something a little more abstract. I was inspired by an illustration student. She made something on wood and i got a craving to try it out as well. Im not really finished then again maybe i am.. unno... it was more of a sketch for fun...I don't really have a reason for it. Basically its a sailor arguing with an octopus. I used Gouache, marker, and an oil pit pencil. The colours are super dull, i don't know why but when i scanned it they were all faded. oh well... enjoy

a new peice... okay so me and my power house amigos.. have decided to work on a little project... a quick simple little short.... this is the main girl... im not to happy with the line work but its just a sketch that i wanted to colour and get some new ideas rolling.. ... this is heavily inspired by a series of short films that my i got off a friend..i like the red one... because i stared at the orange one for way to long.. either way ENJOY =)

I realised that the colours suck in the picture below so i just uploaded the queen of hearts line work instead...like I mentioned before it was supposed to be a valentines card but i didnt get a chance to finish it.. the huge storm we had kept me in oakville for a couple days =P.. heh..

also along with this post i figured i would post up some sketches i did last year that i intended to post up but never did..... please dont mind the poor quality

heres a late valentine card I was making. I didnt finish it because I was barely home this last week but I did the line art last saturday. Its nothing special but I figured i had to make my weekly post,=P... although I think later tonight , to make up for this weak piece...... I'll upload some life drawings and maybe a new sketch...
